Concerned about the risks to Homeopathy?

Starting a podcast that's true to Homeopathy is a powerful antidote to the folly of Facebook groups and some of the marketing mayhem surrounding homeopathic remedies.

There's this phenomenon that happens with podcasts because they’re a digital container for the unique frequency of your voice.

There are so many voices out there, bring yours to the fore.

Greetings! I’m Courtney Sullivan- writer, farmer, content creator, podcaster, student at Academy of Homeopathy Education (AHE) and the producer of the Strange. Rare. Peculiar podcast for Denise Straiges and Alastair Gray.

For the last 25 years I helped run a regenerative farm that sells direct to consumers at the Ithaca Farmers Market in NY. During some of that time we also ran an on farm B&B called Humble Hill Lodge.

Being a host located far from familiar surroundings & a seller of uncommon foods has taught me a lot about the importance of:

  • Preventing people from getting lost
  • Answering questions quickly
  • Giving clear directions
  • Helping people answer their questions with content
  • Explaining the unfamiliar in an engaging way
  • Thinking about the customer journey
  • Following up with people

My time as a B&B host left its mark upon my creative mind. So now I'm applying the lessons learned in hospitality to homeopathy.

Front of House vs. Back of House

In the hospitality business there’s a distinct presence in the

"Front of House" meaning what the customer sees and is served by

VS. "Back of House" meaning the tasks in areas not directly visible to customers.

I began to see a pattern as I looked over all the homeopathy content on social media and the internet. Then a question emerged:

What happens if the online marketing mayhem that’s a real challenge for Homeopaths... is reframed as a hospitality problem?

Not in practice yet? Excellent!

Winter is on the way and it's perfect time to grow slowly.

Sow what you'd love your ideal clients to know into a podcast.

Seriously. Hey, hey with those excuses now...

This most certainly is a wonderful time to get comfortable with podcasting.

You know you can't stop talking and thinking about Homeopathy anyway.

So just record it.

Your family will thank you.

Keep in mind, building an audience takes time.

Consider giving yourself permission to podcast without prejudice.

The delete button is a thing. You can totally use it as your knowledge grows.

The perfect podcast you think you are waiting to create doesn't exist.

Most podcasts are midly at best in the beginning.

They only improve when you record one episode at a time, however imperfectly.

I'd love to help.
